May 30 (Renewables Now) - Brazilian natural gas and power company Eneva SA (B3:ENEV3) has commenced full operation of the 692.4-MWac Futurta 1 solar photovoltaic (PV) complex in Bahia state.

The company announced on Monday it received approval from local power sector regulator Aneel on May 26.

Located in the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte, the PV complex is comprised of 22 solar farms, making it one of the largest of its kind in the country.
